Mechanical Engineering Department, Advanced Technology Division. Mechanical Engineering and Design work for the Microelectronics, Telecom Industries. Tasks included heat load calculations using Carrier Hourly Analysis Program (HAP) v. 4.0; HVAC design for office space, manufacturing areas, datacenters, and clean rooms; sizing and selection of mechanical equipment; duct pressure drop calculations for ductwork and piping; code review; and creation of mechanical specifications. Lead mechanical engineer for data center, clean room, and natural gas line projects. All projects required excellent communication skills, interdiscipline coordination, attention to detail, management of designers and resources, and project budgeting

Altran Corporation Milpitas, CA June 2000 - June 2001
Engineer
Mechanical Engineering Department. Author reports and perform calculations for the power industry. Calculate cooling load with Excel Spreadsheet using CLTD method. Gather information on equipment, materials, and procedures for three Bay Area fossil power plants and input data into Microsoft Access database. Troubleshoot and modify database for better report output. Project coordination - answer client's questions, coordinate calculation authorship and review, track calculation outputs, maintain references, and update reference database.

Advanced Fabrications Department. Produced and cast proprietary prototype investment molds. Developed and documented of processes for pattern making, investing and casting molds. Assisted in planning through production phases of project using Microsoft Project. Solar Turbines, Inc.

Small Engines Department: Test instrumentation, created large Excel spreadsheet to analyze rotor dynamics; Combustion Engineering Department: Conducted fuel concentration profiling and velocity profiling (by hot wire anemometry) of seven different SoLoNOx fuel injectors. Designed test fixture for velocity profiling of SoLoNOx injectors.
